New entry in semiconductor equipment stocks! Skytech (6937) is slated for public listing this week. Skytech started out in semiconductor equipment spare parts and repairs before deciding to invest in own-brand equipment in 2017. George Yi, former global VP of US-based Applied Materials, was invited to join the Skytech team. Skytech’s business portfolio now encompasses Silicon-based semiconductor, 3rd generation semiconductors, photonic semiconductor, and advanced packaging. A foothold has also been successfully carved out of the semiconductor front-end market previously dominated by major international players.
